Adding Contacts to Your Contact List via Talkyto App

Overview


The latest Talkyto update introduces a simple and secure way to add new contacts directly from within the app.

You can now build your contact list without leaving Talkyto — making it easier than ever to connect and collaborate.


How It Works

With this feature, you can:

  • Search for existing users in the Talkyto network
  • Add new contacts manually from the mobile app
  • View and manage all your contacts in one place
  • Control which employees can edit your contact list


Admin Setup: Enabling Contact Editing Permission

Before an employee can add new contacts, the admin must grant permission:

  1. Log in to your Organization.
  2. Navigate to Devices → Select device → Contact lists tab → check the checkbox under "Editable".

Once this permission is enabled, the employee will see the Add to organization button in their Talkyto app.


Adding a Contact via the Talkyto App

Follow these steps to add a new contact to your list:

  1. Open your Talkyto App
  2. Select your contact details from your Call history
  3. Press the Add to organization button
  4. An employee can edit an existing contact by again pressing the "Add to organization" button
