How to Put a Call on Hold in Talkyto App

Talkyto lets you put an active call on hold at any time. When a call is on hold, both sides are muted and the other party hears hold music. This is useful when you need to check information, consult a colleague, or briefly step away during a conversation.

How It Works

• Works on both incoming and outgoing calls
• Both you and the other party are muted while on hold
• The other party hears hold music while waiting
• You can resume the call at any time by tapping the hold button again

How to Put a Call on Hold

1. During an active call, tap the Hold button on the call screen
2. The call is now on hold — the other party hears hold music and both sides are muted
3. To resume the call, tap the Hold button again

When to Use Call Hold

• A support agent needs to check a customer's account details before answering their question
• You need to quickly consult a colleague while on a business call
• You need to briefly step away during a call without disconnecting
