Customize Your Voicemail Greetings with Talkyto

Voicemail Feature in Talkyto

Talkyto allows you to set up custom voicemail greetings for missed calls — helping you maintain professionalism even when you're unavailable. With flexible settings and personalization options, your voicemail can match your tone, language, and workflow.

What Is the Voicemail Feature?

If a call is not answered within a specified time, Talkyto will automatically play your voicemail message and let the caller leave a voice message. This ensures that no important call is lost — even when you're busy or offline.

What You Can Customize:

  1. Voice

Choose from different voice options (e.g., Woman, Man,...) to match the tone you prefer. Voices are powered by text-to-speech technology.

  1. Message

You can write your own greeting or use the default message:“It appears that the call cannot be established. Please leave a message after the beep.”Example of a custom message:“Hi, this is Sarah from Acme Corp. Sorry I missed your call. Please leave your message and we’ll get back to you shortly.”

  1. Timeout

You can now manually set how long Talkyto should wait (in seconds) before activating voicemail.

Example: Set it to 30 seconds to allow the user time to answer the call before voicemail kicks in.

How to Set Up Voicemail in Talkyto:

  1. Go to your Talkyto App.
  2. Navigate to the Settings  → Voice.
  3. Click on the Voicemail configuration section.
  4. Set the following: Voice, Message, Timeout

Tips:

  • Test different voices to see which one feels the most natural for your audience.
  • You can update voicemail settings anytime — it takes effect instantly.
