Talkyto 8.3.2 – Feature Improvements

Overview

Talkyto version 8.3.2 introduces several usability enhancements designed to improve efficiency when working with contacts and messages. This update brings faster access to contact information, easier phone number copying, and a brand-new Notes feature inside contact profiles.

Below is a complete overview of everything included in this release.

1. Copy Phone Number From Contact Details

You can now tap any phone number inside the Contact Details screen to instantly copy it to your clipboard.

  • A single tap copies the number.
  • A confirmation banner appears at the top of the screen:

“Phone number copied to clipboard.”

This makes it much easier to share or reuse contact numbers without manual text selection.

2. Copy Phone Number From Messages (Long Press)

Inside any chat, you can now long-press a message to copy the associated phone number.

  • Ideal for quickly reusing numbers shared in conversations.
  • No need to highlight text or switch screens.

3. Open Contact Profile Directly From a Message Thread

You can now open the full contact profile directly from a chat thread.

  • Tap the contact’s name at the top of the conversation.
  • The app instantly opens the Contact Details screen.

This provides faster access to contact info without navigating back to the contacts list.

4. Notes for Contacts

Contact records now include a Notes feature for keeping important details in one place.

  • Each contact shows the latest note along with its timestamp.
  • You can add new notes or edit existing ones directly within the app.

This makes it easier to track important information, preferences, reminders, or anything relevant to a contact.

5. Upload MP3 files for voicemail

You can now upload your own MP3 file directly from the app and use it as a voicemail.

This gives you more control over your voicemail settings and allows you to set custom, high-quality audio messages without needing to record them through the device.
