Chat management - Talkyto App

Chat management: Unread, Pin & Flag We’ve enhanced your messaging experience with three powerful tools: - Unread chats – mark messages as unread to return to them later. - Pin conversations – keep important chats at the top for quick access. - Flag chats – highlight and organize specific chats for follow-up or action. - Filtering messages - sorting out flagged or unread chats Mark Chats as Unread How it works: - When you receive a new message, it will be automatically marked as unread until you open it. - You can manually mark a chat as unread even after opening it, so you don’t forget to come back later. Examples: - You opened a client’s message but don’t have time to reply → mark it as unread to handle it later. - You want to keep an important chat visible as pending until you’ve completed the required action. How to do it: - Swipe to the right of your Chat. - Select “Mark Unread”. - The chat will be highlighted again with an unread indicator on the right. Pin Conversations How it works: - Pin any conversation so it always stays above others, even when new messages arrive in different chats. - You can pin multiple conversations at once. Examples: - Keep your boss, top client, or support channel always at the top. - Pin an ongoing project chat for quick access. How to do it: - Swipe to the left of your Chat. - Select “Pin”. - To unpin, follow the same steps and choose “Unpin”. Flag Chats How it works: - You can flag individual chat. - Flagged chats are easy to find because of the flag icon they will have Examples: - Flag an importantchat that contains address or phone number shared in a conversation. - Highlight tasks or instructions that need follow-up. - Mark an important client request that you don’t want to lose in the chat history. How to do it: - Swipe to the left of your Chat. - Select “Flag”. - To unflag, follow the same steps and choose “Unflag”.

Talkyto App Update: Improved MMS Handling & Future Enhancements

We are excited to announce an important improvement to the Talkyto application. This change addresses a previously identified issue that specifically affected our MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) functionality within the United States and Canada. MMS messages sent via Twilio can only be fully delivered within the U.S. and Canada. International MMS messages are automatically converted into SMS text messages that include an embedded URL link to the media content. However, a discrepancy was identified for MMS messages delivered within the U.S. and Canada in our app. The Talkyto app was previously configured to read only the text content of messages, leading to a misrepresentation of MMS messages in the U.S. and Canada. The associated media content was sent correctly, but the link to the media file was missing in our app, causing the message to appear incomplete. To resolve this, we have implemented a server-side update that enhances the handling of MMS messages for users in the U.S. and Canada. This improvement has been rolled out automatically, so there's no need for you to manually update your app. Now, MMS messages within the U.S. and Canada will include a link to the media file as part of the message, ensuring that you can fully access and view all content as intended. Looking ahead, we are thrilled to share that we are working on an upcoming update that will further refine your MMS experience. This will enable media content to be displayed directly within the message, eliminating the need to follow a separate link to view images. Our mission is to continually enhance the Talkyto experience, and this improvement is just one of many planned enhancements aimed at making communication easier and more seamless for you. We want to extend our sincere appreciation for your continued support of Talkyto. Your experience is our priority, and we're committed to making each interaction better than the last.
