Twilio Account configuration - Talkyto Business

A Twilio Account Is Required to Use Talkyto

To use Talkyto effectively, a Twilio account is required. Twilio provides the phone numbers, SMS, and voice infrastructure that powers Talkyto — without it, the app won’t function as expected.

Why Do I Need a Twilio Account?

Talkyto doesn’t offer built-in telecom services. Instead, we integrate seamlessly with your own Twilio account, giving you full control over:

  • Phone numbers
  • SMS sending/receiving
  • Voice calls

Configure Your Twilio Account

  • Sign up at https://www.twilio.com/en-us
  • Copy your Account SID and Auth Token from your Twilio dashboard.
  • Go to Talkyto BusinessService AccountsAdd new Service Account.
  • Paste in your credentials and click Submit.
  • Go to **Service Account details **→ **Configurations tab **→ Configure All Options
  • Go to **Service Account details **→ **Phone Numbers tab **→ Configure certain capability with Talkyto This allows Talkyto to send and receive messages and calls through your Twilio numbers.

Important:

If the Twilio integration is missing or your number is not set up properly, Talkyto features like messaging, calls, and voicemail will not work.
