A Twilio Account Is Required to Use Talkyto App
To use Talkyto effectively, a Twilio account is required. Twilio provides the phone numbers, SMS, and voice infrastructure that powers Talkyto — without it, the app won’t function as expected.
Why Do I Need a Twilio Account?
Talkyto doesn’t offer built-in telecom services. Instead, we integrate seamlessly with your own Twilio account, giving you full control over:
- Phone numbers
- SMS sending/receiving
- Voice calls
Add and Configure Your Twilio Account in Talkyto App
- In your Twilio Console, purchase a Service Account (for calls, you will need an upgraded one)
- Then, go back to Talkyto App → **Settings **→ **Service Accounts **→ **Select your account **→ Configure all.

Types of configuration:
-
FCM Credential Used for incoming/outgoing calls and notifications
-
VoIP Credential Used for incoming and outgoing calls
-
iOS Push Credential Used for incoming and outgoing calls on iOS
-
Messaging Service Used for incoming messages
-
Outgoing Voice Application Used for outgoing calls
-
Incoming Voice Application Used for incoming calls
-
Notify Service Used for notifications on older versions of the app
We’re happy to assist with Twilio account setup, number configuration for Voice, number configuration for SMS or any errors — just reach out via the chat icon anytime.
